PUFFING BILLY

We had the best time last night. We went on a twilight ride on Puffing Billy, ate a picnic dinner in the Gembrook Park and enjoyed the late night train ride back through the fern gullies and countryside in the pitch dark. The chug chug chugging and the wind in our hair was awesome.  We missed your puff Billy as the carriages were pulled by the diesel engine which was a little disappointing but it didn't really matter at all as none of the atmosphere was lost. Urged on by Tara and possibly the bottle of Wolf Blass Verae I sat with my legs dangling out the windows as is the customary practice (for the kids at least) on this train. If Tara could do it with her leg in plaster then so could I! It was a lot of fun. The evening is an annual event organised for members of the local Fire Brigades.

Cheers,
Lynda
