BUTTERFLIES

"Just living is not enough," said the butterfly, "one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower." ~Hans Christian Anderson

Aren't butterflies beautiful. They must be one of the most strange and spectacular things on earth. Their brightly coloured and patterned wings make them a welcome visitor to the garden as they flit flutter from flower to flower. They are so fragile and vulnerable but they don't seem to have a care in the world. To me the butterfly represents freedom, rebirth, fun and happy moments. When it comes to transformation, nothing does it like the butterfly.

Kaylee and I made some paper butterflies today. The pattern is around everwhere from origami books to card kits but we used inspiration from the inspire company. There are some wonderful craft examples on the site to make and Kaylee and I will be trying out a few more when time permits.

We stuck some of our butterflies on the glass door but unfortunately the light is not cooperating with us so the photo is not good
Cheers,
Lynda

  1. I think they're lovely! They would look good in a mobile, too! Gramma Joy always said she would like to come back as a butterfly.
