This is Ben's latest artwork. It's a glass mosaic sphere with a water theme. Stylised tropical fish and reeds are placed around the sphere and a glass fish hangs from the bottom. It is the second in a set (I hope) of the elements air, water, fire and earth. It will make a gorgeous addition to my garden art after it has been assessed and marked for Ben's art in education class.
This last photo is of Ben's original sphere that was made a few years ago. The two now make a lovely pair but I am hopeful there will be more to come. The theme of this first one was based around nature and has intertwining leaves and vines in a never ending circle around the sphere. There is a glass gum leaf that hangs from the bottom.
