Never too late


We were supposed to make this for Christmas but we ran out of time and just didn't get around to doing it so yesterday was the day for making the gingerbread house. 





That icing is looking very tempting...

Too tempting in fact...


Yes it is yummy...


Our house began caving in before it was even finished as the day was really too hot to work with icing  but it was a fun activity and it tasted good anyway. Kaylee thought she had made a masterpiece and that is all that matters, right?

  1. So good! Also, if you can eat the icing you use, it is probably not going to hold your house up well. We use a recipe with egg whites, powdered sugar and cream of tartar. Technically it is frosting, but I wouldn't eat it. It hardens to cement in about a minute. Gah, she looks so cute in that dress!
